Director of Operations (AZ)

We are seeking a results-driven Director of Operations to lead and support multiple restaurant locations throughout the Arizona market. The ideal candidate is an experienced multi-unit operations leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, drives operational excellence, develops strong leadership teams, and understands how to balance people, profitability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee operations for multiple Popeyes restaurant locations across the Arizona market Drive sales growth, profitability, labor management, and operational performance Ensure all locations maintain brand standards, food safety, and guest satisfaction expectations Coach, mentor, and develop District Managers, General Managers, and restaurant leadership teams Analyze KPIs, financial reports, labor trends, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement Partner with HR and Recruiting teams on staffing strategies, succession planning, and talent development Support new restaurant openings, remodels, and operational rollouts Lead accountability around training, employee engagement, retention, and culture initiatives Ensure compliance with company policies, state/federal employment laws, and safety regulations Conduct regular restaurant visits, operational audits, and performance reviews Qualifications 5+ years of multi-unit restaurant operations leadership experience required Previous QSR experience strongly preferred Proven experience leading high-volume, fast-paced restaurant operations Strong knowledge of P&L management, labor controls, and operational metrics Demonstrated ability to develop and lead high-performing teams Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to travel regularly throughout the Arizona market Experience with staffing strategy, employee development, and operational coaching preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office and restaurant reporting systems Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus but not required What We Offer Competitive salary + bonus opportunity Medical, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and company holidays Career growth and advancement opportunities A fast-paced, energetic, and people-focused culture Opportunity to help lead one of the most recognized QSR brands in the industry At Popeyes, we believe our people are the secret ingredient to our success.
