QA / QC Engineer | Transmission line & Substation | Gujarat

Hiring experienced QA/QC Engineers – Electrical for a reputed EPC company engaged in major High-Voltage Power Transmission Line and Substation Projects . Job Description & Key Responsibilities Monitor and implement QA/QC procedures for 220 kV / 400 kV / 765 kV Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) and Electrical Substation projects .

Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable international standards and client quality requirements. Prepare, review and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), method statements and inspection checklists . Conduct site inspections and verify the quality of materials, equipment, workmanship and installation activities.

Coordinate with project teams, clients, consultants and third-party inspectors for inspections, testing and quality approvals. Monitor quality documentation, inspection reports, test records and material inspection reports to ensure proper traceability. Identify non-conformities (NCRs), coordinate corrective and preventive actions, and follow up on their closure.

Participate in internal and external quality audits and ensure timely implementation of audit observations. Ensure quality compliance throughout project execution, including installation, testing, commissioning and handover activities. Hands-on experience in high-voltage transmission lines and substation projects . Strong understanding of quality management systems, inspection procedures and technical documentation. International project exposure will be an advantage. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
