More about the company /// More about the platform ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Strategist to join our Content team in Zagreb.

You’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to shape how Sofascore shows up on social media. You’ll turn sports culture, cultural moments, and emerging trends into content and campaigns that stand out, while making sure every post stays true to the Sofascore brand. You’ll work closely with copywriters, the Brand Design team, and the wider Marketing team to keep our communication consistent, visible, and impactful.

Your tasks and responsibilities Creative direction of content Track social media trends and, together with the team, adapt Sofascore content to them Identify and connect key non-sports cultural moments with the Sofascore brand and content Develop and plan campaigns that break away from typical social media content Organize and lead brainstorming sessions on social media content Ensure all social media content follows the defined creative and visual direction and Sofascore brand values Proactively propose new brand initiatives and get involved in existing ones Collaboration Take part in brand initiatives across the entire Marketing team Work actively with our copywriter to improve marketing material published on social media Work actively with the Brand Design team on materials for the Content team and the Marketing team as a whole What you bring to the team A genuine passion for sport and a solid knowledge of the game Proven experience in social media strategy, content planning, or a related marketing role A strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and culture, with a good sense of what makes content stand out Creative thinking and the ability to turn ideas into concrete campaigns Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across creative and marketing teams Excellent command of English (both written and spoken) What we offer Direct impact on the growth of a global sports platform Collaboration with top-tier international brands Collaboration on a global scale Freedom to organize your workday and schedule in a flexible way A generous education budget and opportunities to attend international conferences and workshops Top-notch equipment (laptop, smartphone budget, ergonomic office chairs, and height-adjustable desks) Annual paid general medical check-up Family benefits package Sofascore Canteen (lunch options) Sofascore Bar (coffee and drinks on us) Sounds good?
