Senior Scientist II (NB Lab), IMCB

Job Description and Requirements We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team and lead a key research program within the lab on epithelial stem cells in gastrointestinal cancers. This is an excellent opportunity for a postdoc looking to grow in their scientific and leadership skills while driving a grant-funded research project that spans both research and therapeutic domains.

The successful candidate will work alongside an established team of researchers to dissect the underlying biology of cancer stem cells using a variety of mouse, organoid, and patient-derived models, and collaborate on drug discovery efforts to target vulnerabilities of these cancer cells. Job Requirements: PhD in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or related field, with at least a few years of postdoctoral research experience and strong publication record Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and research teams Experience in supervising junior researchers and students Excellent written and verbal communication skills, collaborative mindset, and strong team spirit Background in cancer/stem cell biology and experience with mouse models preferred, but not compulsory
