Development Coordinator

** Development Coordinator | German Centre Communities ** ** $24.00 - $29.00/hour**, based on experience Part-Time | Primarily Business Hours

Delivering Solutions that Matter:

• Assist with coordinating fundraising and development activities, including donor communications, appeals, events, and stewardship initiatives.

• Assist with maintaining accurate donor and prospect records, ensuring timely updates to databases, acknowledgments, and correspondence.

• Support the planning and execution of fundraising events, campaigns, and community engagement activities.

• Assist with grant research, proposal preparation, reporting, and other materials to support organizational funding opportunities.

• Collaborate with leadership, volunteers, donors, and community partners to strengthen relationships and support the organization's development goals.

Qualifications for Success:

• Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred. Will consider equivalent experience.

• 1-3 years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, or community relations.

• Knowledge of fundraising best practices, charitable giving, sponsorships, grants, and donor database management.

• Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and Microsoft Office skills; experience with donor management systems preferred.

• Ability to communicate fluently in English - both verbally and written
