Teacher Aide(MOE)

Job Roles & Responsibilities Teacher Aide 1: English Language (EL), Mother Tongue (MT) and Physical Education (PE) Teacher Aide 2: Mathematics (MA), Science (SC) and Character & Citizenship Education (CCE) Departmental & Level Work Assist in the production of teaching & learning resources Perform cataloguing and stock-taking of teaching & learning resources Issue, collect and maintain cleanliness of teaching & learning resources Perform filing, typing and printing of worksheets and notes Prepare certificates awarded by department and/or level Scan Optical Answer Sheets Key in students’ marks/grades into computer databases Collate departmental/level surveys and other statistics Update departmental/level noticeboards Decorate the school for special functions and celebrations Teaching & Learning Activities Assist in group work activities Assist in coaching students with special needs or weaker students Assist in out of school activities such as learning journey Other Duties Update students’ attendance in School Cockpit Perform safety & security duties as assigned by School Management Assist to maintain discipline of class when necessary Assist in general administrative duties in General Office when necessary Any other duties as assigned by School Management Requirements Job Requirements Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Good communication and inter-personal skills Must have worked in office environment performing administrative tasks such as typing and photocopying documents.

Preferably at least 1 years of experience working as Teacher Aide in a local government Primary School. The school may request for the candidates to undergo an interview and/or demonstrate their competency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
