You are responsible for providing administrative support to the Housekeeping Department, handling various clerical tasks, maintaining records, and assisting in ensuring the smooth operation of the department.
As a Housekeeping Supervisor , you’re not just supporting efficient housekeeping operations – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day: Inspect and monitor the cleanliness and overall condition of guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards are met.
Supervise, train, and provide daily work instructions to housekeeping staff. Manage staff scheduling and attendance records. Control inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens, and coordinate ordering as required. Monitor room status updates and coordinate closely with the Front Office team. Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Handle guest complaints and contribute to enhancing service quality. Maintain guest room conditions in accordance with brand standards. In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications: Proven experience in hotel housekeeping operations.
Prior leadership, supervisory, or team training experience. Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards. Experience managing staff schedules and developing team members. Basic verbal and written communication skills in English. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
