Job Title: Deputy Head of Finance & Accounting

• Gujarati/Hindu Speaking Location: Kiambu County Eligibility: Kenyan Nationals Only Note: Fluency in Gujarati or Hindi is a required skill for this role due to the nature of supplier communications and stakeholder engagement. Our client is expanding their expanding finance team and are currently looking for an experienced, hands-on professional to fill the role of Deputy Head of Finance & Accounting. The Role: We are seeking an experienced and hands-on finance professional to support the leadership and execution of the Finance & Accounting function, ensuring strong financial reporting, controls, compliance and effective business support. Duties:
• Support accurate and timely financial reporting and accounting operations
• Strengthen financial controls, reconciliations and compliance
• Support budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis
• Review financial information and provide actionable business insights
• Support effective financial governance and documentation
• Partner with operational teams on financial and business requirements
• Support process improvement and greater efficiency within finance
• Guide and support the Finance & Accounting team in day-to-day execution Requirements Key Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA or ACCA.
• Strong hands-on financial management, reporting, and budgeting experience.
• Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, or a similar complex operating environment is an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience supervising or leading teams
