Senior Copywriter

Job Title: Senior Copywriter Overview The Senior Copywriter is a strategic creative leader responsible for developing compelling, on-brand messaging across multiple channels and clients. This role blends high-level thinking with hands-on writing, helping shape brand voice, guide creative direction, and elevate the quality of work across the agency.

The Senior Copywriter collaborates closely with designers, strategists, and account leads to deliver thoughtful, effective creative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and lead copy for brand campaigns, websites, email marketing, social media, digital ads, and content initiatives Translate brand strategy and business goals into clear, engaging messaging Establish and maintain voice and tone guidelines for client brands Concept creative ideas and messaging frameworks across channels Collaborate with designers and strategists throughout the creative process Review, edit, and refine copy from junior writers or freelancers Present copy concepts and creative rationale internally and to clients Manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities simultaneously Ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy across all written deliverables Qualifications 5–8+ years of professional copywriting experience (agency experience REQUIRED) Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and versatility across formats and industries Experience writing for multiple brands and adapting voice and tone accordingly Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills Familiarity with digital channels, including web, email, social, and paid media Ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative agency environment Experience mentoring or providing feedback to junior creatives is a plus Personal Attributes Strategic thinker with a strong creative point of view Detail-oriented with high standards for quality Confident communicator who can articulate ideas clearly Collaborative and open to feedback Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn Passionate about storytelling, branding, and creative craft
