HVAC Draftsman

Key Responsibilities

Prepare HVAC shop drawings, installation drawings and detailed layouts using AutoCAD. Prepare HVAC ducting layouts, chilled water piping layouts and ventilation drawings. Develop drawings for AHUs, FCUs, FAHUs, exhaust fans, fresh air systems and ventilation systems. Prepare duct routing, pipe routing, sections, details and equipment layouts.

Prepare HVAC builders' work drawings, sleeve drawings and opening details. Coordinate HVAC drawings with Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, Architectural and Structural drawings. Identify and resolve clashes between different MEP services. Prepare detailed ceiling coordination and equipment installation layouts.

Incorporate consultant comments and revise drawings as per project requirements. Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site conditions. Coordinate with HVAC Engineers, Site Engineers, BIM Modelers and project coordinators. Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and applicable UAE authority requirements.

Requirements

Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an HVAC Draftsman in MEP contracting companies. UAE or GCC experience is preferred. Experience in high-rise buildings, villas, commercial and residential projects. Must have practical experience preparing HVAC shop drawings and coordination drawings. Good understanding of HVAC installation procedures and site requirements.

Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines. Immediate joiners are preferred.
