AS400

We are looking for an experienced AS400 Developer with strong expertise in IBM iSeries/AS400 application development, maintenance, and support . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in RPGLE, CLLE, DB2/400, SQL , and should be capable of working independently in a banking or financial services environment.

Develop, enhance, and maintain applications on the IBM AS400 (iSeries) platform. Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions. Design, code, test, and implement RPG-based applications. Perform production support, issue resolution, and root cause analysis. Develop and optimize DB2/400 database queries and stored procedures.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities. Ensure application performance, reliability, and security compliance Exposure to core banking systems such as FIS Equation , retail lending, deposits, and payments processing.

Strong experience in RPGLE, ILE RPG, CLLE, and CL Programming . Hands-on experience with DB2/400 and SQL . Experience with Query/400, SDA, RLU, DFU . Good understanding of AS400 architecture, job scheduling, and system utilities . Experience in debugging and performance tuning. Knowledge of Change Management/Version Control tools .
