Senior Engineer – Highways Saudi Nationals

As part of our involvement in the Kingdom's landmark Landbridge Program, we are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer – Highways to contribute to the design and delivery of major railway and transportation infrastructure projects.

This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale rail developments, supporting the integration of highways, access roads, transportation corridors, and intermodal connections that are critical to the success of the Kingdom's transportation network.

Key Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Engineer – Highways, you will: Develop highway engineering designs and technical deliverables for rail and transportation infrastructure projects. Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, drawings, and design documentation. Support project delivery from concept development through detailed design stages.

Coordinate design activities with multidisciplinary teams, including rail, civil, structures, geotechnical, drainage, utilities, environmental, and project management disciplines. Ensure designs comply with project requirements, client specifications, and applicable international and local standards. Participate in design reviews, technical workshops, and value engineering initiatives.

Identify technical risks and challenges while developing practical, innovative, and cost-effective solutions. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and design partners throughout project execution. Support quality assurance and quality control processes across all project phases. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives and engineering best practices.

Job Requirements: Master's Degree in Highway Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field is an advantage. Professional Engineering registration or equivalent certification is preferred. Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Highway Engineering Design. Minimum 5 years of experience working on Rail Infrastructure Projects.

Proven experience delivering major transportation and infrastructure projects. Experience within international engineering consultancy environments is highly desirable.
