CHARACTERISTICS OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE A “can do,” no excuses, attitude Ability to work collaboratively with people different from you with humility and respect Experience and aptitude for landscape maintenance work Ability to lead others and promote safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment Dependable, on time, and a person of their word Proactive, dependable, and demonstrates great communication skills Demonstrates high integrity and honesty Service-oriented Problem-solving abilities-especially as related to landscape maintenance issues Excellent communication skills and ability to work with crews and Account Managers KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with Account Managers and Property Managers to ensure landscape maintenance at commercial properties is executed with excellence Oversee the work of Crew Members and other maintenance workers Prioritize, assign, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate landscape work at commercial properties Provide on-the-job training to crew members, enabling them to perform tasks efficiently. Make recommendations to the Maintenance Account Manager or Supervisor regarding performance evaluations, discipline, training, job reassignments, and laborer selection Assist in preparing and reviewing the day's schedule with the Maintenance Manager. Oversee jobsites and actively participate in tasks like mowing, edging, weeding, debris removal, pruning, and more. Assess jobsite needs, identify potential issues, and communicate findings to Account Managers Load and unload power equipment, tools, materials, and debris daily. Ensure appropriate levels of fuel, oil, and coolant for landscape power equipment and vehicles. Wash trucks weekly or as directed by management. Supervise crew's use of safety equipment and ensure safe operation. Perform other assigned duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

Prior landscaping experience preferred. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Physical fitness and ability to perform physically demanding tasks. PHYSICAL DEMANDS (all required to be done for up to 10 hours or more a day): This role involves heavy lifting, manual dexterity, and various physical tasks in diverse Texas weather conditions.
