Maintenance Technician - Moline Enterprise Lofts & Garfield School

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician in Moline, IL! Do you take pride in maintaining a property and creating a comfortable place for residents to call home? We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to support two of our affordable housing communities in Moline, IL: Moline Enterprise Lofts (62-units) and Garfield School (57-units), a community serving seniors.

What You'll Be Doing: Complete daily maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances. Maintain exterior of the property along with tackling seasonal prep such as fall cleanup or snow removal.

Perform daily property walks to keep everything clean, safe, and looking sharp. Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests when assigned. Prepare vacant apartments for new residents using make-ready checklists. Inspect buildings and grounds to maintain safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal. Maintain common areas, exterior spaces, and grounds.

Communicate with vendors and contractors.

What You'll Bring

Minimum of two years of previous experience in property management maintenance, building maintenance, or related trade. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, and appliance repair. Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurability requirements. Ability to participate in the on-call emergency rotation schedule.

Strong customer service skills with a resident-first mindset. High school diploma or equivalent required. HVAC-EPA (Type II), or EPA Universal preferred.
