Utility I - Week Night

Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team, and are currently recruiting for a Utility I to join our team of manufacturing professionals in Hanover, PA at our Broadway facility. As a Utility I, this candidate will be responsible for inspecting and packing quality products into boxes, cartons, cans, and specialty containers in a team atmosphere while responsible for their individual station.

Responsibilities

Be flexible with training and rotating through various positions as needed and the individual responsibilities they entail. Positions including: Packer (Primary role) Back up QA Lineperson Ensure quality and food safety tasks are completed for assigned position. Perform basic sanitation duties weekly or as needed.

• Set up mats and cartons for packers before production begins. Prepare packing area for packaging different products . Provide coverage for breaks and lunches as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs , bend, stoop, squat, and stand during work shifts. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with speeds set by the machines. Ability to communicate and understand basic English commands and supervisor instructions. Ability to read and match item codes. Strong attention to detail and basic understanding of quality and food safety standards.
