Bake Shop Attendant

Job Details: Salary Range: Undisclosed, A bake shop attendant (or bakery assistant) helps with both customer service and production in a bakery, handling tasks like greeting customers, taking orders, packaging goods, ringing up sales, stocking displays, and assisting bakers with preparing, mixing ingredients, and baking items.

They ensure smooth daily operations by keeping the shop clean, managing inventory, and providing a positive experience for customers buying fresh bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.

Key Responsibilities

Greeting customers, answering questions, offering recommendations, taking orders, processing payments (cash/card), and packaging items. Baking Assistance (Back-of-House): Measuring, mixing ingredients, shaping dough, monitoring ovens, decorating, and preparing items like cookies, muffins, and donuts. Operations & Cleaning: Restocking shelves, setting up displays, cleaning work areas, washing dishes, sweeping, and maintaining food safety standards.

Inventory: Checking deliveries, managing stock levels, and notifying management of shortages.
