VP of Operations

• FORT MYERS, FL, Salary Range: Undisclosed, POSITION: Vice President of Operations OVERVIEW: Plan, direct, coordinate and oversee operational activities at all of our Florida locations. Ensure development and implementation of efficient processes and procedures and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the operation. This position reports directly to the President. SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Establish, implement and communicate the strategic direction of the organization of the operations division which includes warehousing, delivery and services
• Ensure all operations are compliant with the Anheuser-Busch equity agreement
• Identify, recommend and implement new processes, technologies and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials
• Create effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of processes
• Present periodic performance reports and metrics to the CEO and President
• Ensure that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions and facilities are in line with the organizations business plan and vision
• Establish, communicate, and implement operations related policies, practices, standards and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution
• Develop and administer the department budget
• Control company costs and introduce tactical initiatives to address Finish Product Loss
• Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies including, but not limited to, DOT and OSHA regulations
• Guide, direct and evaluate the work of operations and delivery and service management
• Recruit, interview, hire and train as needed
• Monitor performance to proactively identify efficiency issues and propose solutions
• Manage discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
• Oversee the daily workflow and operations of the departments
• Perform other related duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Lift truck skills, tractor & trailer driving skills EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics or another industry-related field
• Minimum 10 years of industry-related experience including 3 years in upper management. Qualifications:
