Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Operator / CNC Machinist with experience operating Swiss machines and CNC lathes . This role is responsible for producing precision machined parts using CNC equipment while maintaining high quality and efficiency standards in a manufacturing environment. Essential Responsibilities: Operate CNC lathes and Swiss-style CNC machines to machine precision components Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and setup sheets Perform machine setup, tool changes, and basic program adjustments Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure tolerance compliance Work with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Haas, and Okuma Load/unload materials and maintain efficient workflow Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues Maintain production output and efficiency targets Accurately document work orders, inspections, and production data Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are clean and operational Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines Requirements: Experience operating CNC lathes or CNC machines Experience with Swiss machining preferred Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, or Okuma controls Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Experience using precision measuring instruments Understanding of machining tolerances and quality control Strong attention to detail and ability to meet production goals Experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment Physical Demands: Lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1-50 lbs.
