Job Family: Student Regular Wage, Student Work Study Department: Mathematics Supervisor: Penni Hartley Job Title: Mathematics Preceptor Job Description: Preceptor will lead four- fifty-minute mathematics preceptor sessions per week at the assigned times. The sessions will be planned to either help develop students' skills in fundamental areas such as prerequisite pre-calculus topics or to help students with the most dicult aspects of the current course materials.
Preceptors will be responsible for preparing a class plan and related materials with support from the program director. In addition to individual planning the Preceptor will meet once a week with the preceptor team, as organized by the director, to discuss educational readings and to prepare worksheets for use in the preceptor sessions.
Pay Rate: $10.00 per hour Scheduled Hours: 10 Start Date: 08/1/2025 End Date: 05/30/2026
