Child Care Floater

Part-Time Child Care Floater (3:00 PM – 6:00 PM) Rich Beginnings Child Care Center is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Part-Time Afternoon Child Care Floater to join our team. This position works Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM , providing support throughout the center as needed. Days can be flexible.

Responsibilities

Assist teachers in classrooms serving children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Supervise and engage children in safe, fun, and developmentally appropriate activities. Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Support afternoon routines, including snack, outdoor play, and dismissal. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children while following OCFS regulations and center policies.

Provide coverage for staff breaks and assist wherever needed.

Qualifications

Must be reliable, patient, and enjoy working with young children. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Previous child care experience is preferred but not required. Must be able to meet all NYS OCFS employment requirements.
