Youth Care Specialist Stepping Stones residential services is seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable individuals to join our team as Youth Care Specialists. If you are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and adolescents, we invite you to become part of an organization committed to providing safe, nurturing, and person-centered residential care Job Summary The Youth Care Specialist provides direct care, supervision, and support to children and adolescents with Intellectual and/or Autism Disabilities residing in our residential program.

This position helps create a structured, safe, and therapeutic environment while promoting each child’s emotional, behavioral, social, educational, and life-skill development. Youth Care Specialists serve as positive role models and play a critical role in helping youth achieve stability and success. Job Duties ● Provide daily supervision and support to youth in a residential setting ● Assist residents with daily living activities, including hygiene, grooming, meals, chores, and independent living skills ● Provide positive behavioral support using trauma-informed and person-centered approaches ● Support residents in achieving treatment, behavioral, and personal goals ● Document daily activities, incidents, observations, and resident progress ● Participate in recreational, educational, and community-based activities ● Transport residents to appointments, activities, and community outings as needed ● Monitor health, safety, and well-being of residents and report concerns appropriately ● Assist with medication administration after completing required training ● Respond appropriately to crises and emergency situations while maintaining a safe environment ● Work collaboratively with supervisors, clinicians, families, and other team members to support positive outcomes for youth Schedule ● Full-Time and Part-Time Positions ● Evenings, weekends and holidays ● Starting rate $18.
