Job Overview: Job Summary** The General Foreman-Civil at Primoris Energy Services will oversee and manage civil construction activities on assigned projects (43427 APEX), ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role involves direct supervision of crews, coordination with project management, and adherence to quality standards.
Job Responsibilities** * Supervise and direct civil construction crews, including laborers, equipment operators, and craft workers. * Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily work activities to optimize efficiency and productivity. * Interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents to ensure accurate execution of work.

Monitor and enforce strict adherence to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. * Conduct daily safety briefings and toolbox talks with the crew. * Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment. * Track progress, identify potential delays, and communicate updates to the Project Superintendent.

Order and manage materials, equipment, and resources required for civil construction tasks. * Ensure quality control measures are implemented and maintained throughout the project. * Train and mentor crew members, fostering skill development and teamwork. * Collaborate with other foremen, superintendents, and project personnel to ensure seamless project execution.

Maintain accurate daily reports, including crew hours, equipment usage, and work completed. * Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues and challenges in a timely and effective manner. Job Qualifications** * Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role (e.g., Foreman, General Foreman).

Demonstrated experience in earthwork, excavation, grading, concrete work, and underground utilities. * Strong understanding of civil construction methods, techniques, and equipment. * Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings. * Comprehensive knowledge of construction safety regulations and practices (OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred).

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to motivate, train, and manage diverse work crews. * Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. * Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project demands.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. * Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and in various weather conditions as required.
