Financial Aid Work Study

Job Title: Financial Aid Work Study Location: Iowa Falls, IA Department: Financial Aid Reports to: Director of Financial Aid Semester: Fall 2026 Number of Openings: 1 Rate of Pay: $11.00 per hour Summary: The purpose of this position is to support the financial aid team with all aspects of providing guidance to students.

Essential Job Duties: Assists students and parents by answering their financial aid questions by phone and walk-ins. Performs routine tasks such as scanning and projects of a clerical, and/or administrative nature. Provides backup for the financial aid office by taking students payments, printing statements, answering phone calls, etc.

Abilities: Ability to handle highly confidential matters and materials with discretion. Must have working knowledge of computer software programs such as Word and Excel. Ability to learn new software (Jenzabar EX – Student Information System). Ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment. High attention to detail.

Maintain college GPA that meets or exceeds the IVCCD Standards of Academic Progress.
