Optician — No Experience Necessary All About Eyes Earn $20–26/hr (base pay + incentives) — retail and customer-service pros, this is your next career. Opticianry gives you the pace and personality of retail with the credibility of a healthcare profession. No optical experience? Good. Some of our strongest opticians came to us from selling phones, jewelry, cosmetics, shoes, furniture, or appliances — or from waiting tables and running a front desk. If you know how to read a customer, ask the right questions, recommend with confidence, and hit a number, you already have the hardest part of this job.

Compensation
& Benefits Total earning potential: $20–26/hr+. Our Optician roles start with a guaranteed $17/hr base, plus a commission and bonus structure built to be earned, not chased — most opticians add another $3–9/hour on top of base as they grow into the role.
