Engineering Project Manager

ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER (Permanent) Our client, a global manufacturing organization in WNY, is looking to add an Engineering Project Manager to their growing team.

Responsibilities

Manage cross-functional engineering projects and new initiatives from inception/planning through execution Compile team from Engineering, Operations, Quality, and leadership teams Create budgets, schedules, project charters, and risk mitigation strategies Clearly define timelines, milestones, and objectives, tracking each as the project progresses Delegate and oversee responsibilities, ensure projects remain on schedule and internal/external stakeholders are updated/aligned throughout Identify risks, develop resolutions, and proactively manage each to avoid further complications Present complex technical plans in a clear/concise manner to a diverse audience Juggle multiple projects at a time—anywhere from 3-5 is typical, depending on the complexity Work well in a team environment as well as independently Other duties as assigned/as necessary Details: Position is full-time, direct hire $90,000 – $110,000 annually depending on experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business or related 5+ years’ experience in project management supporting Engineering/Manufacturing/Operational projects PMP Certification is a plus Must be able to access technical data governed by US Export Control regulations Professional demeanor and ability to interact with employees Highly confidential Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) Strong organization skills, analytical, and time management skills Meticulous attention to detail Self-motivated Relocation not available Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available ​ All employees and applicants, please know that you have access at all times to New York State and Federal Labor Laws and Posters at the Government Agency websites: https://dol.
