Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) License or LPN License A passion for providing high-quality, person-centered care Strong teamwork and communication skills Key Duties Include: Ensures 24-hour provision of nursing services within federal, state and company requirements based on acuity of residents. Maintains standards of nursing services within the expectation of the Nurse Practice Act.

Acts on behalf of Director of Nursing Services in her absence. Ensures exchange of essential information necessary for the provision of quality resident services. Ensures that all documentation necessary for quality resident care is maintained according to federal, state and company policy, Reviews daily assignments with Director of Nursing Services, RN Supervisors and Charge Nurses.

Monitors nursing personnel performance. Makes daily rounds, identifies problems, initiates corrective actions and monitors follow up.
