Software Engineer, Principal

Infor are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join our high-performing product development team. You will play a critical role in the architecture, design, and development of our next-generation enterprise applications. This is a hands-on technical leadership role that requires deep software engineering expertise, a passion for innovation, and a commitment to building scalable, cloud-first solutions.

As a Principal Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across architecture. C++, .Net, Angular, Ext JS and DevOps, driving the technical strategy and mentoring engineers to build robust, maintainable, and performant software. A Typical Day in the Life Includes: Design and develop scalable, secure, and reliable enterprise software using modern frameworks and cloud-native principles.

Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership across multiple teams and products. Champion engineering excellence through code reviews, mentorship, and thought leadership. Work closely with Development / Product Manager to align technical solutions with business requirements and customer needs. Evaluate new tools, technologies, and practices, and drive continuous innovation and improvement.

Act as a subject matter expert on key technologies, and participate in incident response and postmortem reviews.

Basic Qualifications

Experience as a Senior or Principal software development. Experience in cloud-native application development (preferably AWS). Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as .Net, C ++, Angular, ExtJS. Sound knowledge in C++ and .Net Experience in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and DevOps practices Proficient Database skills like Oracle Testing experience. Experience with modern development process (SOLID programming, merge requests, code review).
