Room Attendant Key Responsibilities: Clean assigned guest rooms/suites thoroughly and efficiently according to hotel S.O.P.'s. Sanitize bathrooms, bedrooms, and sitting areas to resort standards.

Make beds with clean linen and refresh towels and amenities daily. Dust furniture and surfaces, vacuum floors, clean mirrors, and wipe down doors. Replace amenities, literature, and items as required. Empty wastebaskets and ashtrays, and replace liners as needed. Remove trays, dishes, and glassware from rooms. Check and restock closets with hangers and laundry bags.

Promptly respond to guest requests for service or items. Handle and return lost items to the housekeeping department. Communicate room status updates and report any maintenance issues. Maintain accurate inventory of cleaning supplies and ensure safe use. Complete all room assignments and check in with supervisors before end of shift.

Assist in preventive deep-cleaning programs as scheduled. Attend required housekeeping meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of housekeeping experience in a commercial or hospitality setting. Hotel experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Good communication skills and a professional, guest-focused attitude. Ability to lift, bend, and be on your feet for extended periods.
