Blending Operative GRA

Blending Operative Skelmersdale £27,600.00 per annum The role: AIS is looking for a Blending Operative to support our manufacturing operations by carrying out blending activities safely, accurately and in line with approved procedures. You'll play a key role in ensuring materials are prepared, weighed and processed correctly, helping us deliver high-quality products to our customers on time while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and operational excellence.

What will you do as our Blending Operative: Carry out blending preparation and support activities in accordance with approved procedures, work orders and batch records. Pick, stage, weigh and dispense materials accurately while maintaining full traceability and stock control. Complete batch documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Operate equipment, weighing systems, scanners and material handling equipment safely and effectively. Verify material identity, batch numbers, labels, release status, expiry dates and quantities before use. Maintain high standards of housekeeping, contamination control and line clearance within the blending area. Follow COSHH requirements, PPE guidance and safe working procedures when handling materials.

Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity and operational performance. What are we looking for in our Blending Operative: Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality. Ability to follow procedures, batch records and work instructions consistently. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Awareness of COSHH requirements, PPE and safe working practices. Ability to use production equipment, weighing systems and digital systems following appropriate training. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment would be beneficial.
