Per Diem Occupational Therapist; ALS Clinic (Mondays) -Mount Sinai Union Square

The Per Diem Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients and facilitating rehabilitation and independence. Develops and designs treatment plans for physically, mentally and/or emotionally disabled patients. Occupational Therapists enable, enhance and improve patients ability to gain independent, productive daily living and working environments.

1. Effectively evaluates and treats all patients
2. Maintains and charts evaluations and progress notes following note writing guidelines
3. Demonstrates knowledge and principles and theories relating to effective patient care.
4. Supervises OT students as assigned
5. Supervises volunteer staff as assigned.
6. Attends appropriate patient rounds, kardexes, conferences; presents information to all present.
7. Maintains equipment and treatment area in a clean, safe and efficient manner.
8. Follows standards of practice/care in the treatment of all patients.
9. Consistently treats the assigned number of patients. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy. National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred. The salary range for the role is $60.44 - $60.44 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need.
