We are seeking a Full time and PRN Registered Medication Aides for the following programs in Suffolk, VA facilities: Behavioral Health Assisted Living Facility. Memory Care Unit.

Responsibilities

Perform direct consumer care such as monitoring vital signs, bathing, dressing, ambulating, toileting, transferring, height and weight, feeding, meal planning/preparation, exercises. Administer medication as directed. Assist nurses with nail care of consumers. Assist Nurse with consumer medical appointments. Document observations on consumer progress and activities, tasks performed and response to care in the clinical record.

Maintain confidentiality of all consumer care and personal information Qualifications and Skills for RMA: Licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Licensure as a Medication Aide. 1 year of nursing experience preferred. Valid driver’s license with acceptable DMV record. Long term Care experience preferred. Proficient in using Electronic medical records.

Basic knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare Regulations preferred. At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's.
