Location New York, New York Shift: Day (United States of America) Description: Manager of Rehabilitation Medicine Operations New. York-Presbyterian / Lower Manhattan Hospital is a campus of New. At NYP/Lower Manhattan Hospital, the Rehabilitation Medicine Department uses advanced technology and best-practice techniques to restore and maximize patient outcomes.
Our work continues to help patients reach their full potential. The Manager is responsible for the effective operational management and regulatory compliance of the Department, inclusive of both the inpatient and outpatient programs. We are seeking an experienced leader to manage and coordinate activities of the Department to ensure effective operations in accordance with patient needs, professional standards, and established procedures.
In this role, you will provide oversight for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology. Preferred Criteria Master’s degree Previous experience working in inpatient and outpatient settings Previous leadership experience Required Criteria Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Kinesiology, or Health Related Sciences Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification – American Heart Association Licensure as a Physical Therapy (DPT) or Occupational Therapist by the State of New York Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
