Para-Educator W/Signing Skills for the 2026/2027 School Year

Job Summary

Vacancies exist for Para-Educators w/Signing Skills in our Special Education DHH Program at various school sites to assist the classroom teacher of deaf and hard or hearing students in all areas as assigned and to assist in maintaining a classroom conducive to learning to ensure programmatic needs are met. Sign language skills to support to support deaf and hard of hearing students and ability to support students in mainstream environments – linking spoken communication to sign Requirements / Qualifications Must have completed one of the following at the time of hiring: 48 semester units of higher education; OR an Associate’s degree (or higher); OR passing score (70% or higher in both ELA and Math) on the paraprofessional exam (exam administered at our office – see receptionist for details).
