Concierge

Position Overview

As a Concierge at Edgewood Tahoe Resort, you will be responsible for providing exceptional and personalized service to all guests, ensuring an unforgettable experience from check-in to check-out. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of the resort’s amenities, local attractions, and luxury services, with an emphasis on anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide guests with accurate and timely information regarding resort amenities, local attractions, dining options, spa services, and activities. Assist in arranging reservations, tours, and transportation. Anticipate guest needs, preferences, and special requests, ensuring personalized and exceptional service at all times.

Coordinate with other hotel departments (e.g., housekeeping, valet, front desk) to ensure guests' needs are met. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests, striving to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. Assist with booking tickets for local attractions, shows, tours, and other events. Answer the phone and make reservations, take and distribute messages or mail and redirect calls.

Build rapport with customers and provide them with genuine guidance and support. Ensure the concierge desk is well-stocked with relevant materials, brochures, and promotional items for guests. Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business.

Qualifications

Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage high-pressure situations. Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using computer systems and booking platforms. Previous hotel-related experience desired.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to safely lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 40 lbs. Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods. Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
