Temporary Showroom Assistant - Paris (27 November to 8 December 2026)
Job description
Introduction At Burberry, we believe creativity opens spaces. Our purpose is to unlock the power of imagination to push boundaries and open new possibilities for our people, our customers and our communities. This is the core belief that has guided Burberry since it was founded in 1856 and is central to how we operate as a company today.
We aim to provide an environment for creative minds from different backgrounds to thrive, bringing a wide range of skills and experiences to everything we do. As a purposeful, values-driven brand, we are committed to being a force for good in the world as well, creating the next generation of sustainable luxury for customers, driving industry change and championing our communities.
Job Purpose We are hiring a temporary Showroom Assistant to join the Burberry team in our Paris Head Office for the November Paris Market. You will play an important role in creating an exceptional showroom experience, supporting Market appointments and ensuring our products and spaces are presented with care and precision.
This is a hands-on, service-focused position rather than a sales role, suited to someone who enjoys working collaboratively in a dynamic luxury environment. The role runs from 27 November to 8 December 2026 , working 35–38 hours per week across four working days within each seven-day period. Shifts will fall between 07:00 and 23:00, Monday to Sunday , including weekends and public holidays.
Responsibilities
Deliver a warm and professional welcome to internal and external clients, representing Burberry and our values of Explore, Inspire and Protect. Support the Showroom Management and Wholesale teams during Market appointments, helping maintain a smooth, responsive and highly considered experience. Maintain exceptional showroom and visual merchandising standards, ensuring products and displays are presented beautifully throughout the day.
Care for products through steaming, lint rolling, folding and organising samples, ensuring presentation and product-care standards are consistently maintained. Support seasonal deliveries by receiving, packing and logging samples, organising storage areas and placing products on the showroom floor. Contribute to showroom set-up, daily operations and breakdown, taking a flexible and hands-on approach wherever support is needed.
Personal Profile Strong customer service or front-of-house experience, with a genuine commitment to delivering a high standard of service. Fluent French and English communication skills, both verbal and written. A flexible and adaptable approach, with availability for the full assignment and required shift pattern. Calm and professional when priorities change or the showroom becomes busy.
Excellent attention to detail, with care for product presentation, organisation and visual standards. Comfortable collaborating within a large, multicultural team and taking initiative to support shared priorities. Candidates must hold valid authorisation to work in France for the duration of the assignment. Burberry is an Equal Opportunities Employer and as such, treats all applications equally and recruits purely on the basis of skills and experience.
