Inspection Operative

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Label Packing Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for packing labels to meet customer specifications, quality standards, and production deadlines. You will play a key part in ensuring products are prepared accurately and efficiently for dispatch as well as providing support in other operations areas.

Key Responsibilities

Check rewind, inspection, and packing instructions on work tickets to ensure all labels meet customer and quality requirements Pack pressure-sensitive labels and sheet-fed wrap/label products in line with specifications Seal, palletise, and wrap finished orders ready for dispatch Carry out visual quality checks (including label count, orientation, collation, and presentation) Handle sheet-fed wrap/label work with care, ensuring correct stacking, alignment, and protection Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness in packing and finishing areas Operate and monitor packing equipment, carrying out basic maintenance where required Accurately complete production, quality, and dispatch documentation Support other packing, finishing, or production tasks as required Working Hours Minimum of 36 hours per week, in a rotating treble shift pattern.
