IM CANS Assessor

The IM+CANS Assessor is responsible for conducting comprehensive Illinois Medicaid Comprehensive Assessment of Needs and Strengths (IM+CANS) assessments for individuals receiving substance use disorder and behavioral health services. This position completes biopsychosocial assessments, identifies client strengths and service needs, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and ensures compliance with Illinois Medicaid, CCBHC, and organizational standards.

The Assessor supports treatment planning, ASAM level of care determinations, care coordination, and timely clinical documentation.
