About the role

The Sales Manager prospects and sells to individual accounts on behalf of the hotel in accordance with the objectives established in the marketing plan. The Manager will ensure that sales activities, top accounts and bookings are focused to yield maximum revenue per available room.

What you will do

Promote and sell to group market in defined geographic region for property. Generate Hotel's awareness through direct phone sales; direct sales calls, tradeshows and networking groups. Work closely with sales and marketing teams to solicit, sell and confirm group business required to meet budgeted sales goals for the property.

Candidate should possess the ability to solicit group travel. This position requires a high degree of independent judgement and discretion on decision making and managing confidential information of the property. Performs and follows up on all extra tasks, actions and responsibilities assigned by the Directors of Sales and Directors of Marketing.

Has the ability to be a Public Ambassador for Four Seasons Hotels. What you bring We are looking for individuals who have solid selling and interpersonal skills and who demonstrate the energy and commitment to meet and exceed personal goals. The applicant will have a proven track record in pursuing, evaluating soliciting, selling and confirming business as required in order to meet individual goals and overall budgeted sales and profitability.

The ideal applicant would have a strong knowledge of the local Chicago and the Mid-West markets. Applicants are required to have 2-3 years previous experience in a similar role and travel is required; both domestic and international.
