Job description

Job Title: Senior SharePoint Developer (SharePoint Online, SPFx, Microsoft 365, Power Platform) Experience Required: 7-10 Years Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work with business analysts, architects, technical leads, and end users to understand requirements, design SharePoint-based solutions, implement customizations, and support delivery across the application lifecycle
  • Design, develop, and enhance enterprise collaboration solutions using SharePoint Online, Office 365, and Microsoft 365 services
  • Build custom SharePoint Framework (SPFx) web parts, extensions, and reusable components using TypeScript, React, and modern development practices
  • Develop SharePoint lists, libraries, pages, content types, permission models, workflows, and integration components as per project standards
  • Configure and customize SharePoint Online using out-of-the-box features, Power Platform, and approved scripting approaches
  • Integrate SharePoint solutions with Power Apps, Power Automate, REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, and other enterprise systems where required
  • Participate in solution design, development, unit testing, quality assurance, deployment, and post-production support activities
  • Troubleshoot production issues, analyze root causes, and implement fixes or enhancements within agreed timelines
  • Prepare technical documentation such as Solution Design Documents, deployment guides, configuration notes, SOPs, and support handover documents
  • Follow secure coding practices, coding standards, version control, release management, and client delivery processes
  • Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams, support task estimation, and provide technical inputs during sprint planning or project execution
  • Keep up to date with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, SPFx, and Power Platform features and recommend improvements where applicable
  • Communicate effectively with business users, analysts, and technical stakeholders
  • Work independently, support team members, and deliver assigned tasks as per committed deadlines Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 7-10 years of IT development experience with strong hands-on exposure to SharePoint development and Microsoft 365 collaboration solutions
  • Strong experience in SharePoint Online, Office 365, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Platform, and modern SharePoint development
  • Experience developing SPFx web parts/extensions using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and REST API-based integrations
  • Working experience with SharePoint site architecture, lists, libraries, metadata, search, permissions, page templates, and reusable components
  • Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate for business process automation and workflow enablement
  • Hands-on experience with VS Code, Git/GitHub or Azure Repos, package management, and standard development/debugging tools
  • Experience documenting technical design, deployment steps, release notes, and support procedures
  • Good troubleshooting skills for SharePoint Online, SPFx, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 issues Technical Skills
  • SharePoint Online, Office 365/Microsoft 365, and modern SharePoint development
  • SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and j. Query
  • Power Platform components: Power Apps, Power Automate, and connectors
  • SharePoint OOTB customization, site provisioning, permissions, content types, managed metadata, and search configuration
  • REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, and integration patterns for Microsoft 365 solutions
  • PnP Power. Shell, SharePoint Online Management Shell, and scripting for administration/deployment support
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure services and Azure AD/Entra ID concepts relevant to SharePoint solutions
  • Azure DevOps/GitHub, version control, branching, pull requests, and CI/CD awareness
  • Knowledge of responsive UI design, accessibility considerations, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Understanding of application support, incident management, change management, and release management processes
