Registered Nurse – Psychiatric Unit (Nights) Location: Pierceton , IN 46562 Schedule: Night Shifts | 12-Hour Shifts | Full-Time Pay: $48–$52/hour, based on experience Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a behavioral health team in Pierceton, IN . This role is ideal for an experienced psych nurse who thrives in a structured mental health environment and is passionate about supporting individuals on their path to recovery.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to individuals with mental health and behavioral conditions Conduct patient assessments and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Administer medications and monitor responses and side effects Ensure a safe, therapeutic environment that adheres to facility protocols and state regulations De-escalate crisis situations using trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions Document nursing care accurately and timely in accordance with policy and regulatory guidelines Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge plans when appropriate Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a psychiatric, behavioral health, or crisis stabilization setting Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team Shift Details: Night Shifts 12-hour shifts Rotating weekends or holidays as needed Compensation: Competitive hourly rate of $48–$52 , depending on experience Eligible for shift differentials and overtime where applicable
