Network Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in network infrastructure, firewall administration, cloud networking, server support, and IT operations management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing enterprise and cloud-based network environments, troubleshooting connectivity issues, firewall and security management, virtualization platforms, and Windows/Linux administration.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing network infrastructure (on-premise and cloud) while ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, switching, routing, and wireless networks Configure and administer firewalls, UTM devices, NAT/PAT policies, and security solutions Handle firewall management and troubleshooting using technologies such as Palo Alto Networks and similar platforms Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions Provide support for Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and Windows Server administration Manage endpoint security, antivirus solutions, encryption tools, and patch management systems Support virtualization and VM management environments such as Nutanix or similar platforms Troubleshoot Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows-based server issues Maintain and support access control systems, EPABX servers, and enterprise communication infrastructure Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution and infrastructure upgrades Ensure network security compliance and implement best practices for IT infrastructure management Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and incident reports Cloud Responsibilities (Added) Design, implement, and manage cloud networking and cloud infrastructure in platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Configure and manage VPC/VNet, subnets, routing tables, load balancers, and gateways Implement and support site-to-site VPN, remote access VPN, and hybrid connectivity (on-prem to cloud) Monitor and optimize cloud network performance, availability, and security Required Skills Strong knowledge of Networking Concepts: LAN, WAN, VLAN, Switching, Routing, TCP/IP Hands-on experience with Firewall Administration (Palo Alto preferred) Experience in UTM, NAT-PAT configuration, and network security Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Management Experience in Windows Server Administration Basic to intermediate Linux administration (RHEL/Ubuntu) Experience with Patch Management and Endpoint Security tools Virtualization/VM Management experience (Nutanix preferred) Understanding of VPN configuration and remote connectivity support Knowledge of IT infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting Experience or exposure to cloud networking and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) Good communication and stakeholder management skills
