Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Ambulatory/Outpatient Clinic Location: 355 W. 16th St., Suite 2800, Indianapolis, IN 46202 Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM-5:00 PM No weekends or holidays Ideal candidates are flexible, empathetic, motivated, and thrive in a team-based outpatient setting. About the Opportunity Join a growing outpatient clinic in a newly added role due to clinic expansion.
Work alongside a collaborative team of providers, RNs, and support staff. Opportunity to support both Adult Psychiatry and Concierge Clinic services.
Key Responsibilities
Manage patient message pools and follow-up communication Process medication refills Complete prior authorizations Handle critical patient calls and care coordination Review and communicate lab results Administer injections Support TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) services Provide backup support for Medical Assistants as needed What We're Looking For LPN preferred, but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and patient-focused approach Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced clinic environment Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Team-oriented mindset and willingness to cross-train Why Join IU Health?

The more you participate, the more you earn! Knows and uses the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to individual patients. Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team. Evaluates response to interventions and patient status toward goal achievement. Accepts delegated nursing measures for which he or she knows he or she is prepared, qualified and licensed to perform.
Requires graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program. Requires an active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) LPN license. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
Successful completion of orientation required. 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
