Key Responsibilities
- Product & Technical Documentation
- Develop and maintain product manuals, feature guides, configuration guides, admin handbooks, API documentation, SDK references, and release notes.
- Document internal processes, product workflows, troubleshooting steps, and integration procedures.
- Maintain versioned documentation aligned with product releases, architecture changes, and new features.
- Video Tutorials & Multimedia Content
- Create end-to-end video tutorials demonstrating product features, setup steps, configurations, and best practices.
- Produce onboarding videos, UI walkthroughs, and module-specific training videos for clients.
- Script, record, edit, and publish high-quality videos (screen recordings + voice over).
- Cross-Department Documentation
- Work with Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, Training, Support, and Sales to gather accurate information.
- Prepare documentation for internal knowledge sharing, onboarding, process standardization,and client education.
- Ensure consistency in tone, terminology, and structure across all documentation assets.
- Diagrams, Visuals & Formatting
- Create diagrams, flowcharts, sequence diagrams, and architecture visuals using tools like Lucid chart, Draw.io, PlantUML, or Mermaid.
- Present complex information through simplified visuals and structured formats.
- Quality Review & Documentation Standards
- Define and enforce documentation templates, style guidelines, and review processes.
- Edit and improve content written by product, engineering, and support teams.
- Periodically audit and update outdated content.
Requirements 6. Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) 7.
Required Skills
& Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in technical writing for software/SaaS products.
- Strong ability to understand and document APIs, microservices, UI/UX workflows, and technical concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in documentation tools: Confluence, Markdown, Notion, Git-based documentation, or similar.
- Experience with video creation tools such as Camtasia, OBS, ScreenFlow, Adobe Premiere, or equivalent.
