Maintains a valid Florida Athletic Certificate or appropriate certification. Foster a positive, inclusive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, respect, and personal growth alongside athletic performance Plan, organize, and lead effective practices that build fundamental skills, teamwork, and game strategy Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes by following proper training techniques and district/state guidelines Serve as a mentor and role model, promoting accountability, discipline, and strong character in student-athletes Communicate clearly and consistently with students, parents, school staff, and administration regarding schedules, expectations, and student progress Monitor student-athletes’ academic performance and encourage a strong balance between academics and athletics Coordinate game logistics, including transportation, equipment, and compliance with league or district requirements Collaborate with school leadership and colleagues to support school-wide initiatives and student engagement Maintain accurate records for attendance, eligibility, and athletic participation Promote the athletic program within the school and community to build school spirit and participation SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Not applicable
