The Opportunity In this role, you will lead the design and development of enterprise-scale applications within the eFRM ecosystem, driving architecture, scalability, and performance. You will work closely with stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver robust, distributed, and event-driven systems aligned with NPCI standards.

Job Details Job Title: Lead Design and Development Division: eFRM Experience: 6 to 10 Years Education: BE / BTech Employment Type: Full-time Location: Mumbai Role Type: Permanent Key Responsibilities Core Technical Expertise – Design & Development Lead application design and development using Java/J2EE Apply strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and coding standards Work on JVM internals, memory management, transactions, and performance tuning Design microservices-based and distributed systems Implement design patterns and architecture best practices Develop REST APIs and enterprise solutions using Spring Boot Work with Kafka and ELK stack Prepare HLD, LLD, architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, release notes Handle relational databases and advanced SQL Work with NoSQL systems such as Cassandra, YugabyteDB, PostgreSQL, KeyDB Frameworks & Development Practices Work on Spring Framework and Reactive frameworks Implement event-driven architecture Execute TDD-based development Follow open-source and integration best practices Ensure scalable and high-performance application delivery Collaboration & Leadership Work with business stakeholders and technical teams Drive technical solutioning and design discussions Mentor team members in development and design Ensure collaboration across teams for delivery Maintain strong verbal and written communication Additional Requirements Hands-on experience in TDD Hands-on experience in Spring and Reactive frameworks Hands-on with Redis, Kafka, Cassandra Work collaboratively to achieve goals Requirements Technical Skills Core Programming Java Data Structures Algorithms Multithreading Backend Technologies J2EE Spring Spring Boot REST APIs Microservices Messaging & Distributed Systems Kafka Event-driven architecture Databases SQL Oracle MySQL PostgreSQL Cassandra YugabyteDB KeyDB Caching Redis Monitoring ELK Stack Development Practices TDD CI/CD Frameworks Spring Framework Reactive Programming Documentation HLD LLD Architecture Diagrams Sequence Diagrams Soft Skills Communication Collaboration Mentoring Ownership Key Skills & Experience Required BE / BTech in Engineering 6–10 years experience in Java/J2EE development Experience in design and development of distributed systems Strong problem-solving skills Good communication skills
