What are we looking for? We are seeking a Functional Analyst Junior to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, proficiency in Agile methodologies , and a solid understanding of financial products within banking. Fluent English (B2+), knowledge of APIs and databases , and experience in banking or financial services are required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Gather and document business requirements under the guidance of senior functional analysts. Support the definition and documentation of end-to-end business processes. Collaborate with IT teams to clarify functional requirements. Prepare functional documentation (Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, Process Flows, User Stories).

Support the definition, preparation and execution of functional and UAT test cases. Assist in project tracking, reporting and status updates. Work effectively with different business and technology stakeholders. MANDATORY SKILLS Proactive attitude with strong willingness to learn. Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Basic understanding of financial products, preferably within Wholesale Banking (knowledge of FX, Fixed Income or Rates is a plus). Basic understanding of APIs, REST services and databases is desirable. Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in an international environment.

Language: High level of English (B2).

NICE TO HAVE

SKILLS Previous internship or 1–2 years of experience in banking or financial services. Exposure to Capital Markets or CIB environments. Basic knowledge of derivatives or structured products.
