Branch Manager

If these qualities sound like you, we would like to talk with you! We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Branch Manager. The role will be responsible for the safety and well-being of its employees, customers and visitors, in addition to training new hires, customer service and managing day-to-day operations of the branch.

Working Environment: Retail showroom, warehouse, lay down yard, and mechanical shop. May be required to operate machinery, equipment, and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks within the branch. Ensuring adherence to company policy and procedure. Ensures all work and non-work areas are safe for all employees, customers and visitors. Ensures all compliance items are always inspected and compliant. Profit and Financial Performance: Responsible for the profitability and financial performance of the branch.

Achieve sales, gross margin and expense goals based on current budget; Review financial results with team/management. Make proper adjustments to staff, processes, and assets to meet these goals. Team Management: Hiring, training and supervising direct reports, conducting employee performance evaluations, addressing employee concerns and motivating team members to achieve goals.

Customer Service: Ensure high quality customer service standards are maintained. Ensure facility and property are clean and organized. Resolve customer complaints and build customer loyalty. Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations and track key performance indicators (KPI) related to those areas of responsibility, including equipment, parts, supplies, rentals, etc.

Identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions. Sales & Marketing: Support and grow local sales using communicated growth strategies to meet or exceed branch sales targets. Participate in local community events to promote the company’s brand and build relations with new potential customers.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree OR three+ years related experience and/or training; analytical and interpretive skills; refined verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to problem solve and address a variety of issues. Physical Requirements: Frequent walking; occasionally required to sit; regularly lift and or move up to 100 pounds with assistance; frequently exposed to outside weather conditions; occasionally exposed to machine traffic and equipment use.
