Clinical Governance Specialist | Contract

$80 per hour | Hybrid Working | Western Brisbane Suburbs | Immediate Start Nurse Generation is partnering with a well-regarded aged care provider to recruit an experienced Clinical Governance Specialist for a short-term contract roughly one month. This is an excellent opportunity for a governance-focused clinician who enjoys working at a strategic level and influencing quality outcomes across multiple aged care services.

The role is based within a corporate environment and focuses on organisation-wide clinical governance, quality, risk and compliance activities rather than direct resident care or facility-based support.

About the Role

As the Clinical Governance Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting clinical excellence, quality improvement and regulatory compliance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include

Providing expert clinical governance advice and guidance Supporting quality, risk management and compliance programs Reviewing, developing and maintaining clinical policies, procedures and frameworks Monitoring clinical indicators and quality outcomes Supporting audit, accreditation and regulatory activities Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives Interpreting aged care legislation, standards and best practice requirements Collaborating with operational leaders to strengthen governance and quality systems Desirable: relevant postgraduate education.

About You

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Demonstrated experience in Clinical Governance, Quality, Risk or Compliance within aged care Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory environment Experience with clinical audits, investigations and continuous improvement activities Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Strong analytical, problem-solving and report-writing capabilities The ability to work independently while influencing outcomes across multiple services What's on Offer Immediate start Contract (roughly one month) $80 per hour Hybrid working arrangement (3 days office / 2 days from home) Opportunity to contribute to strategic quality and governance initiatives Supportive and collaborative team environment Western Brisbane suburbs location If you're looking for an opportunity to apply your clinical governance expertise in a strategic, organisation-wide role, we'd love to hear from you.
