House Manager- CNA Preferred Reports To: Program Coordinator Classification: Non-Exempt Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour L.I.F.E. General Summary The House Manager/CNA is responsible for the daily operation of an assigned community residential home serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The position supervises DSP staff, ensures compliance with Life Inc.

and regulatory requirements, and provides direct hands-on CNA care based on the needs of the individual(s) supported.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Supervises and provides directions to DSP staff and serves as a positive role model. Oversee the daily operation, safety, cleanliness, and organization of the residence. Provides hands-on CNA care, including assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, meals, mobility, transfers, and other activities of daily living as needed.

Supports health-related services within the scope of CNA certification, company policy, and applicable regulations. Monitors and reports changes in an individual's physical, medical, or behavioral condition. Works with the Delegating Nurse to coordinate medical appointments and follow-up care. Supports medication-related responsibilities in accordance with company policy, training, and applicable regulations.

Ensures required documentation, incident reports, medication records, seizure reports, activity calendars, and other records are completed accurately and timely. Conducts required safety checks, fire drills, house meetings, and documentation audits. Manages household supplies, petty cash, individual funds, shopping, and household budgets according to Life Inc.

procedures. Initiates maintenance requests and ensures the home and assigned vehicle remain safe and properly maintained. Participates in PCP/IP meetings and implements and documents individual goals. Provides training and support that promotes independence, dignity, choice, community participation, and quality of life.

Attend required staff meetings, House Manager meetings, training, and professional development activities. Addresses staff performance concerns in collaboration with the Program Coordinator/Residential Coordinator.

Qualifications

Current CNA certification is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; An associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in a human services field is preferred Minimum of two years' experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, preferably in a residential setting.

Previous supervisory experience preferred. Must have an acceptable driving record according to Life Inc. and insurance requirements. Must successfully complete required background checks and drug screening per pre-employment requirements. Required Training/Certifications Current CNA certification CPR & First Aid BPS and OSHA training Mandt System training Required DDA and Life Inc.

Must be able to respond appropriately to medical, behavioral, and other emergencies. Important: This is both a supervisory and direct-care position .
