Security Officer

Job Description Summary: Provides security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors. Job Description: Performs proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats. Manages acute behavioral events utilizing appropriate techniques. Utilizes de-escalation techniques to protect safety of patients, staff and visitors.

Responds to alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans according to policy and procedures. Actively participates in planned drills and simulations. Provides information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote their safety on the premises. Coordinates with local law enforcement officials and EMS/firefighters to assist in providing safe atmosphere.

Operates a motor vehicle to conduct Maine. General Health business Compensation Information: $17.23 - $30.15 The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
